3. bizawards@patriot-news.com: News about industry awards. Note: We do not run items about degrees, professional designations or routine in-house awards. Example: Jane Doe has won the Blank Award. She works for XYZ Co. in (township, county, state).

4. bizpeople@patriot-news.com: News about new hires or promotions. Example: John Doe has been promoted to an associate at XYZ Co. He is project manager for widgets. He previously worked for ABC Inc.

5. bizevents@patriot-news.com: This is a calendar. Send items approximately three weeks before an event. We will consider free seminars or those of nominal cost, such as chamber of commerce events. We will not run information about for-profit seminars.
