Super Saturday! / FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where and when is Super Saturday held?
Super Saturday will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p .m. on June 7, 2008 on the campus of Harrisburg Area Community College. The event is on the athletic field outside the Evans Physical Education Building. Look for the large circus tents! For directions, click here.

2. How do I get tickets to Super Saturday and how much do they cost?
Super Saturday is FREE to attend! Simply find a registration ad in The Patriot-News, or click here, fill it out and send it in. Your tickets and information about the day will be mailed to you. Please note: Because of time constraints, tickets will not be mailed after Monday, June 2. However, we usually have plenty of tickets available at the door.

3. What happens if it rains? Will Super Saturday be rescheduled?
No. Super Saturday is much too large of an event to reschedule. All of the booths that are outside are placed under large circus tents. In the event of rain, exhibitors and attendees will still be able to have lots of fun without getting soaked (unless, of course, you want to be).

4. Is EVERYTHING at the event free?
No. Tickets to attend the event are free and can be requested by clicking here. However, there will be food vendors available who will be selling their products (hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, ice cream, etc.) and many of our exhibitors will be selling their products in their booths. You may want to bring some money to take advantage of these special event sales.

5. Should we bring lunch?

If you want to, please do. There are plenty of grassy areas around the Super Saturday event that are perfect for a picnic lunch. If carrying around a picnic basket isn’t for you, don’t worry. We will have food vendors on hand who will be more than willing to sell you something to eat.

6. Can my kids come and play while I do my grocery shopping?
No. All kids must be accompanied by an adult. Thousands of people come to enjoy this event and, while we want all kids to join us in a day of great fun and entertainment, we cannot be responsible for the safety and security of unattended children.
